Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of coaching principles and practices.
• Budgeting and financial arrangements knowledge.
• Familiarity with applicable rules and regulations for the sport.
• Ability to work well with students, staff and the public.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to federal, state, and district laws and policies.
• Coach participants to achieve skill and sportsmanship goals.
• Plan and schedule regular in-season practices.
• Prepare eligibility lists and coordinate with school leadership.
• Coordinate with Athletic Director on contests and scheduling.
• Recommend equipment and supervise storage and care.
• Ensure safety conditions of the facility and enforce discipline.
• Evaluate staff per district policies and report results.
