Job summary

Riverdale High School is seeking an Assistant Coach - Volleyball to support the head coach in developing the program and guiding student athletes. The role requires adherence to LHSAA and district rules, and involvement beyond regular school hours for practice and games.

The position is part-time with responsibilities including equipment management, rosters, and maintaining safety and documentation for athletes. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in Standard English, both orally and in writing and/or digitally.
• Ability to communicate with students, parents and staff while following school policies.
• Ability to accurately compile data and provide written reports to supervisor.
• Experience with reporting rosters, schedules, scores, eligibility or incident documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head volleyball coach in developing and implementing the volleyball program.
• Adhere to LHSAA, JPPSS and district rules and regulations.
• Work after school hours and sometimes on weekends/holidays as needed.
• Maintain equipment inventory, upkeep, and distribution.
