Old Republic Title is seeking a part-time Assistant Editor to support video editors and producers. The role blends hands-on editing with post-production, including organizing footage, refining audio, adding captions, and delivering polished content.

The position is remote part-time (20 hours/week) with travel to locations in Arizona, Nevada, and Southern California, and possibly other western states as needed. Strong editing and storytelling are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro for timeline editing, audio, and export settings.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and text animation.
• Experience using Canva with brand templates.
• Experience creating professional social media videos with clear storytelling and pacing.
• Knowledge of platform-specific formats, captions, and safe text placement.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

WESTERN TITLE DIVISION Job Description

The Assistant Editor supports Video Editors and Producers in creating polished, professional video content for social media and digital marketing campaigns. This role combines hands‑on editing with post‑production support, including organizing footage, preparing graphics, refining audio, adding captions, and delivering finished content. The ideal candidate has strong technical editing skills, an eye for visual storytelling, and the ability to turn raw footage into engaging, brand‑consistent videos. Attention to detail, collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple projects and incorporate feedback are essential.

Work: part‑time (20 hours/week) remote position but will require some travel to locations in Arizona, Nevada and Southern California (additional other western states as needed).

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, including timeline editing, media management, audio synchronization, basic colour correction, and export settings.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, including motion graphics, text animation, and working with existing templates.
• Working knowledge of Canva and the ability to use established brand templates.
• Demonstrated experience creating professional social media videos with clear storytelling, intentional pacing, clean graphics, and consistent audio.
• Understanding of platform‑specific video formats, aspect ratios, captions, and placement of text within safe viewing areas.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow creative direction, incorporate feedback, and meet deadlines across multiple projects.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Travel as needed to film on location, including setting up and operating camera, lighting, and audio equipment.
