Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in a research-intensive field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of combined active research experience as principal investigator and/or in leadership or oversight roles supporting research operations at a large public or private academic/research institution
• Preferred qualifications include leading research administration, overseeing facilities, and establishing national lab or industry partnerships.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership for faculty, staff, and student success initiatives and recognition programs.
• Oversee research infrastructure, core facilities, and strategic investments to advance UNM's research mission.
• Serve as OVPR executive team member and senior advisor on partnerships with national labs, industry, and external stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams to enhance the university's research ecosystem and outcomes.
