WSP is growing and we have an exciting career opportunity for an Assistant Vice President Project Manager to support our Site Investigation & Remediation Business Line in Austin, Texas. We are seeking a candidate who is excited and motivated about the opportunity to help expand our environmental consulting business in Texas.

Your Impact
  • Identify and develop new clients for our environmental business, including networking inside and outside WSP.
  • Manage environmental projects involving site characterization, remedial design, and environmental compliance, ensuring deliverables, schedules, and budgets are met.
  • Perform field work for site characterization and remediation, overseeing subcontractors and sampling activities in accordance with regulations.
  • Analyze data and report on environmental project tasks, recommending remedial solutions.
  • Provide technical reviews to ensure compliance with environmental laws and standards.
  • Travel primarily within Texas, with occasional travel across the mountain states of the West.
  • Develop and maintain communication channels with clients and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and train junior staff, and manage project teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Participate in technical discussions and business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
  • Manage project performance in terms of technical quality, schedule, and budget to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Adhere to company policies, including ethical standards and conduct.
Who You Are
  • B.S. or M.S. in Environmental Engineering or related field.
  • PE or PG license, preferably in Texas.
  • 10+ years of environmental consulting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and field investigation techniques.
  • Project management experience with budgets and schedules.
  • Self-starter, team-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
  • Business development experience with a proven ability to build client relationships.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Ability to travel, primarily within Texas.

Must pass background check and have a satisfactory driving record.
