Batson-Cook Construction is seeking an Assistant VDC Manager in Atlanta, GA to help foster client relationships while supporting BIM-based project delivery. You will implement virtual building strategies within estimating and coordination efforts, working with project teams, subcontractors, and owners.

The role emphasizes BIM tools, training, and process improvement in a dynamic construction environment. A Bachelor's degree and several years of VDC/coordination experience are preferred.

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years progressive experience in VDC/ BIM coordination or related field.
• Strong understanding of construction documents and BIM processes.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and support VDC strategies across estimating and field teams.
• Communicate project objectives with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Explore new tools and processes to improve delivery methodology.
• Review project documents and specifications for consistency with BIM models.
• Lead virtual building workflows in estimating and project setup.
• Participate in team meetings with subcontractors, architects, and owners.
• Support training in virtual building processes and BIM standards.

We are currently seeking an Assistant VDC Manager in Atlanta, GA. to join our family.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include

• Employee should exhibit all of the competencies of the VDC Engineer
• Communicate to others the objectives of the group and the role it plays within the organization.
• Explore new processes and tools that continue to improve Batson-Cook's delivery methodology
• Have a thorough understanding of project documents and specifications
• Effectively implement virtual building strategies in the estimating process
• Participate and document meetings with project teams including subcontractors/architects/owners
• Participate in project pursuit "Strategy to Win" process
• QA/QC models for compliance with standards and anticipated use cases
• Perform training of the virtual building processes
• Recognize unmet needs within the organization nd offer solutions
• Must obtain training/certifications in the following:
• Attend all training courses relevant to the individual's core discipline
• Attend at least 3 site visits
• Estimating training
• DProfiler training
• QTO in Navisworks or similar training
• Point layout training
• BIM 360 Field Admin training
• A day in the life - shadow a SPE/APM/SUP
• Understanding of our BEP and associated exhibits
• Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, employees). Maintain relationship to ensure needs are met and problems/conflicts are resolved.
• Communicates and reinforces the Company vision, mission and values

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University and 5 or more years of progressively responsible experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
