Winterset CSD is seeking an Assistant Varsity/JV Baseball Coach to lead student-athletes in developing fundamental baseball skills while promoting discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork. The role reports to the Activities Director and works across the athletics department to support program goals.
Responsibilities include organizing practices, adhering to policies, and maintaining professionalism. A college degree and coaching endorsement are required.

Reports To: Activities Directory
Receives Guidance From: Activities Director, Building Principal, and Other Coaches
Basic Function: Ensure each participating student athlete acquires the knowledge of skills and fundamentals of the sport, acquire an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship, teamwork, and an increased level of self-esteem.
Demonstrated Experience or is Willing to Acquire the Following Skills:
Terms of Employment: Wage and work year to be established in accordance with provisions of the Comprehensive Agreement.
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Comprehensive Agreement.
Physical Requirements: Bending, carrying, climbing, travel between job sites, lifting, pushing-pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, and walking
Working Conditions: Includes extremes of temperature and humidity. Hazards include stairs and communicable diseases.
