Position Summary

The Assistant Account Manager supports daily operations by ensuring high-quality guest service, assisting with staff hiring, training, and performance management, and overseeing revenue, payroll, and claims. This role also works shifts as needed, ensuring safe and efficient vehicle handling and maintaining strong relationships with both account management and associates.

Primary Objective

To support the successful operation of an assigned valet account by ensuring exceptional guest service, assisting with staff management and development, and maintaining operational efficiency through oversight of service delivery, financial performance, and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Guest Service Leadership: Provide hands-on guest service training to all associates, ensuring team members meet or exceed PMC’s standards. Monitor interactions to uphold a premium customer experience, fostering a welcoming environment.
  2. Operational Oversight: Supervise valet operations, ensuring safe vehicle handling, proper key procedures, and reducing guest claims and injuries through safety training.
  3. Human Resources Support: Lead HR functions including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management. Ensure certifications and policies are followed, and promote ongoing development.
  4. Service Standards and Appearance: Ensure associates uphold service standards, maintain professional appearance, and support discipline procedures with fairness and proper documentation.
  5. Client and Communication Management: Maintain communication with team and clients, address concerns, and resolve issues proactively to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  6. Payroll and Reporting: Conduct weekly audits of timecards, review discrepancies, and submit accurate reports timely.
  7. Revenue Management: Assist with revenue tracking and reporting, ensuring SOP compliance.
  8. Team Development and Culture: Identify high-potential staff, provide training, foster a positive team environment, and support internal promotions.
  9. Operational Support: Serve as a point of contact for urgent issues, remaining available for on-call problem-solving.
  10. Company Initiatives: Ensure compliance and alignment with PMC’s strategic goals across locations.
  11. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other tasks as needed, including attending meetings, training, and working flexible hours.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; supervisory and customer service experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service, analyze data, and solve problems.
  • Work environment includes indoor and outdoor settings; physical demands may include standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Use of personal cell phone for work-related communication.
