Job summary

The United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Washington is seeking dedicated attorneys to serve as Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) in our Criminal Division.

You will prosecute general crimes, focusing on organized crime, child exploitation, drug trafficking, human trafficking, immigration, and firearm offenses, handling cases from investigations through trial and sentencing with integrity and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Active bar membership in good standing in any jurisdiction.
• Licensed to practice law under the laws of a State, Territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Must register for Selective Service, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prosecute general crimes, including organized crime, child exploitation, drug trafficking, human trafficking, immigration, and firearm offenses.
• Handle cases from investigation through trial and sentencing with integrity and efficiency.
• Operate in a highly demanding environment with minimal guidance and collaborate with fellow attorneys, staff, and client agencies.
