Hoar Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent or Senior Superintendent on one or more construction projects. This role involves coordinating schedules, reviewing plans, and ensuring work meets specs and safety standards. Travel may be required up to 100% to support multiple sites.
Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years in construction, familiarity with scheduling, cost control, safety procedures, and MS Office. A valid driver's license is required.
The Assistant Superintendent is responsible to support the Superintendent or Senior Superintendent in one or more operational areas of a construction project. This position may support the coordination and scheduling of multiple construction crews, helps to determine construction requirements, plans procedures, and ensures subcontract work meets required specifications. The position will also participate in the inspection of work and equipment to verify safety and ensure project operations specifications are met. In this role you may be required to travel up to 100% of the time.

Environment: Work is performed mainly in an indoor and outdoor setting with exposure to all types of weather and temperature conditions, and travel from site to site.
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting and field environment (construction site); to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movement in the performance of daily duties; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate amounts of weight up to 50 lbs without assistance and greater than 50lbs with assistance; to operate assigned equipment and vehicles; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
