Compensation:

Associate Transit Management Analyst: $89,162.00 - $115,445.00

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will support engineering activities within the Track Engineering office, must have a New York State Driver's License, and be able to work day and/or night shifts based on office needs. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the design and construction of railway projects, mainly track work and track switch design following NYCT standards and procedures
  • Performing surveys using topographical instruments
  • Drafting using CADD software
  • Designing and reviewing engineering drawings and writing contract specifications and reports
  • Providing field technical support through visual inspections and preparing construction drawings
Education and Experience

Assistant Transit Management Analyst: I – II

1. A master's degree in a relevant field plus one year of professional experience, or

2. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus two years of professional experience.

Associate Transit Management Analyst

1. A master's degree in a relevant field plus two years of professional experience, including one in transportation, or

2. A bachelor's degree plus three years of related experience, including one in transportation.
