Job summary

Temple University is seeking an Assistant Track & Field/Cross Country Coach & Director of Operations to help develop a Division I program for Women’s Track & Field and Cross Country. You will support sprints and hurdles coaching, assist with recruiting, and help plan practices, competitions and related operations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of collegiate coaching experience, ideally with distance coaching exposure.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree and at least two years of collegiate coaching sprints and hurdles, with some distance coaching at Division I or as a collegiate athlete.
• Experience aligns with NCAA policies and Division I competition expectations.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit and develop student-athletes within university standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing a Division I Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country program.
• Support cross-country and sprints/hurdles coaching for women’s teams.
• Recruit qualified student-athletes and help manage program logistics and compliance.
