Biola University, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Track Coach - Jumps to support the Cross Country and Track and Field Teams.
The role involves coaching jumps, coordinating practice sessions, assisting with meet management, and helping with recruiting efforts on campus and by phone or email. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and 3–4 years of coaching experience at the high school or college level, with 1–2 years in collegiate jumps coaching preferred.
Alignment with Theological Positions: The person who fills this position must personally agree with Biola’s Articles of Faith and Statement of Biblical Principles and support the positions taken by Biola as contained in its Eschatology Teaching Position. As such, this person may not speak against or act in a manner inconsistent with these positions during the course of their employment at Biola.
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university.
Experience Required: 3–4 years successful coaching at the high school or collegiate level and/or experience competing at the collegiate level; experience coaching the horizontal jumps and high jump.
Experience Preferred: 1–2 years coaching jumps at the collegiate level.
Salary: Hourly ~ $17.00 per hour (approximately $30,000 for the entire assignment + ACA Health Insurance Benefits).
Summary of Position: Under general supervision, assists in coaching, administrative, recruiting, fundraising, and meet‑management duties for Biola University Cross Country and Track and Field Teams.
