The Stroud Group is a small, family owned and operated Furniture, Fixings and Equipment Procurement Agency with a workforce of between 12 and 15 employees. The company is looking for a dedicated, full-time Project Manager Assistant with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects working with multiple project managers at any given time. The well-matched candidate is someone with great communication, time-management skills, a proactive and resourceful attitude towards customer service, and a teamwork mentality. Prior experience, understanding of and appreciation for the industry of interior design, construction and/or hotel/casino procurement is a plus and candidates with this background will be given first consideration. Benefits are available upon completion of an introductory period of 60 days, which is a time dedicated to determining a candidate’s ability to work well with and given the established workforce and procedures.
This position is primarily responsible for the consistent tracking/status of all moving parts of an ongoing project. It requires an abundance of attention to detail, proactive thinking and communication, and the ability to maintain professional composure, communication and relationships with a range of vendor personalities.
Qualifications:

·Proficient withMicrosoft Office Programs, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
·Have the ability to execute a number of tasks and prioritize
·Ability to work individually and handle self-driven projects efficiently

Position Responsibilities
·Report directly to different Project Managers – per project
·Review requisitions for goods and services
·Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, availability, production and distribution capabilities
·Monitor shipments to ensure goods arrive on time.Track and resolve all shipment issues.
·Maintain computer records in company software and Excel of all items purchased, costs and delivered
·Maintain professional relationships with vendors
·File weekly tracking reports to Project Managers to evaluate status
·Record and update all project quantities and pricing in project matrices.
·Learn to review and read blueprints and layouts for projects
·Various in-house marketing as required
·Answer calls and emails and re-direct as necessary
·Order project samples
·Keep library – both physical and data base – up to date
Compensation Package
· $20-$27/hour based on previous experience in the project management assistant role, and background within relatable fields (retail, interior design, hotel/casino procurement)
