Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches is seeking an Assistant Thrift Store Manager to oversee thrift store operations, pricing, and customer relations. The role includes cross-training for Store Manager duties and maintaining accurate sales records.
The position reports to the Thrift Store Manager and comes with benefits including leave, holidays, 401(k), health insurance, and life/disability coverage. Background screening is required for employment.
The Assistant Thrift Store Manager position has an overall responsibility for the operation of the Thrift Store including the processing, pricing, displaying and selling of inventory; customer and donor relations; and the appearance of the grounds and buildings in the absence of the Thrift Store Manager.
The Assistant Thrift Store Manager is also cross-trained to maintain accurate sales records and other sales reports, make deposits, and provide other documentation as requested.
The Assistant Thrift Store Manager is directly responsible to the Thrift Store Manager.
This position is eligible for overtime pay.

The person filling this position must have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years experience in retail sales and/or management, knowledgeable with various types of office equipment and computers. Must have possessed a valid driver’s license for three years or more and be able to maintain a safe driving record consistent with agency policy.
