Job description

Job Title: Assistant Tennis Coach

Assist the head coach in all assigned duties, demonstrating a commitment to the athletics department mission and actively participating in the college and Meredith communities. The assistant coach reports to the Head Coach and the Athletic Director. This is a part-time position, approximately 20-29 hours per week, year-round.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the head coach to prepare and implement training plans, practice sessions, and manage games.
2. Be available for all away contests to serve as an additional driver and coach in the absence of the Head Coach, including fall and spring seasons.
3. Assist with recruiting efforts.
4. Acquire knowledge about NCAA Division III rules, USA South Athletic Conference policies, and Meredith College policies.
5. Participate in professional development activities to stay informed about changes in the sport.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.
