Job summary

Colgate University seeks an assistant men’s and women’s tennis coach to support on-court practices and competitions under the direction of the head coaches. This 20-hour per week appointment runs Sept 1, 2026 through Apr 30, 2027 and is limited to 999 hours per year across positions.

The role emphasizes coaching, player development, adherence to NCAA and conference rules, and the welfare of student-athletes, with opportunities to gain exposure to Division I athletics at a premier liberal arts

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of collegiate tennis experience (as a student-athlete or coach).
• significant knowledge of tennis;
• proven success as a student-athlete or coach at the college level;
• strong commitment to the academic success of student-athletes;
• knowledge and commitment to University, Conference and NCAA regulations;
• strong leadership qualities.
