Work Location: Onsite location in San Carlos, CA

Schedule: Mon - Fri, business core hours, flexibility required

Status: full-time, temporary.

Start date: ASAP

Project Duration: 6 months, possibility of extension/ permanent position

Travel Flexibility: Up to 20%

Compensation: $90,000.00 USD per annum

Objective:

The Assistant Technical Project Manager is a hybrid role that combines project management expertise with a strong understanding of technical aspects, particularly with ADAS hardware and software development. The Associate Technical Project Manager will be responsible for vendor coordination, stakeholder management, and managing the processes for data collection and data transfer seamlessly, with a firm understanding of the technical elements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with customers to understand their business needs and lead teams in delivering tailored solutions across various service offerings
  • Provide on-site support for data collection efforts related to the validation or development of ADAS features in vehicles
  • Partner with subject matter expert engineers to solve technical issues and/or build solutions to enhance service delivery
  • Track progress against goals, create dashboards, and perform root cause analysis when targets are missed
  • Act as a key liaison with vendor agencies based on project requirements
  • Partner with Program Managers across multiple geographies to ensure customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvements, measurement, benchmarking, and automation in service delivery
  • Anticipate and address customer needs proactively, applying innovative thinking and working collaboratively with internal technical, production, scheduling, and management teams
  • Drive process optimization through automation by implementing creative solutions to enhance efficiency

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably with Engineering/Technology background or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience in data collection, technical projects, or data management
  • Certified Associate in Project Management is a plus
  • Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) is a plus
  • Experience using Linux/bash/python for triage and support
  • Basic knowledge of programming
  • Experience working with external vendors
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts
  • Experience in automotive sector and/or AI will be a big plus
