Responsibilities

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Assistant Team Leader supports store organization and customer-first culture, assisting with supervision, merchandise presentation, and daily operations to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide excellent customer service, assist with operations, and operate cash registers.
  • Support store merchandising, product knowledge, and store cleanliness.
  • Assist in staff scheduling, training, and safety compliance.
  • Manage merchandise receiving, stocking, and inventory control.
  • Ensure financial integrity through cash handling and security procedures.
  • Assist in store management during the Store Team Leader’s absence.
Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills: Ability to interpret documents, perform math, handle cash, operate store tools, organize, problem-solve, and communicate effectively. Ability to drive to bank deposits is required.

Work Experience and Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; retail experience and supervisory skills are a plus.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 40-55 pounds, occasional climbing, and exposure to various environmental conditions. Ability to operate equipment and provide transportation for deposits is necessary.
