Job Description:

KI, a world-class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Assistant Team Leader to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 2nd shift. 2nd shift individuals receive an hourly shift differential of $2.00. A $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment.

Job Duties:

The Assistant Team Leader supports the Team Leader in ensuring production technicians have the necessary products to maintain production, tracking downtime and documenting quality information. This role also serves as a backup to the Assembly Team Leaders.

• Support the team leader with conveying goals, huddle information, and assisting with job rotation decisions.
• Make suggestions for cell staffing needs.
• Support training of technicians.
• Assist the team leader in ensuring all cell technicians are supplied with necessary materials, schedules are maintained, and downtime and quality issues are documented. Maintain production display boards.
• Assist with production as needed.
• Operate all equipment in the cell effectively and safely.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities (Kaizen events, layout planning, Value Stream Mapping).

Minimum Requirements:

Shift:

• This is a 2nd Shift position.
• Hours are 2pm-10pm, Monday - Friday.
• Shift premium of $2.00/hour.
• Overtime during busy season.
