Responsibilities

• Assist with management and coordination of field staff.

• Assist with safety training and compliance efforts.
• Perform field testing, observation and inspection as needed.

• Support inventory management for equipment and supplies.
• Assist with recruiting and staffing to maintain appropriate team levels.
• Review and support field documentation and reporting accuracy.
• Provide support to Project Managers and Department leadership.
• Attend project meetings and support field coordination efforts.
• May assist with business development and client interaction.
• Perform other leadership and technical duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

ECS Limited is offering a unique opportunity for a talented and certified Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Assistant Team Leader to join our Asheville team. The Assistant Team Leader supports the coordination, supervision, and development of field staff while assisting in the execution of construction materials testing operations. This role combines field and office responsibilities, including technician scheduling support, training, equipment management, and project coordination. The Assistant Team Leader serves as an emerging field leader, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a positive customer service attitude and demonstrating ECS Core Values.
