We are looking for an Assistant Team Leader (ATL) to work closely with the Raw Materials Lead (RML) to meet productivity and quality goals. As an Assistant Lead at Winchester Poly warehouse, you will help the team of warehouse associates to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient daily operations, and maintain strong communication with the RML regarding team and material issues. This role is a key member of our Operations team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety at all times.
• Support our "People First" culture by working as a team.
• Lead warehouse associates to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Coordinate trailer loading with the closest material for efficiency.
• Understand all functions in BU 416, including unloading, receiving, putaway, and shipping.
• Support clerk activities as needed.
• Utilize TREX YMS system for trailer movements.
• Support training and cross-training of team members.
• Coordinate order fulfillment for accurate and timely shipments.
• Ensure timely completion of safety training.
• Work with the RML to train, mentor, and develop team members in areas like plastic grading, receiving, change orders, and customer needs.
• Communicate discrepancies and performance issues to the RML with recommendations.
• Operate forklift safely.
• Promote safety compliance, PPE usage, and housekeeping.
• Support inventory control activities.
• Facilitate communication within the team and with other departments.
• Learn JDE and RF Smart to support warehouse operations.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Experience and Skills Required

• Leadership experience (preferred).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Safety and quality awareness.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Forklift certification, with ability to learn G30 operation.
• Proficient in English reading, writing, and communication.
• Microsoft Office skills preferred but not required.

Education and Abilities

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
