Job Description Summary

This position will provide quality teaching primarily in Fundamentals of Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and/or the Digital Marketing Capstone. The successful candidate will also contribute to innovative curriculum development that moves beyond foundational digital marketing toward the next generation of technology-enabled marketing practice.

Job Description

Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to preparing students for a rapidly evolving marketing landscape shaped by emerging technologies, shifting media, and data-driven customer expectations. This position will focus on high-quality undergraduate teaching and service to the department, university, and profession. Position begins Spring 2026.

Minimum Qualifications:
Required Ph.D. in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communication or a closely related field by date of appointment for rank of Assistant Teaching Professor; Master’s degree in marketing, digital marketing,
communication or a closely related field by the date of appointment for rank of Assistant Lecturer.

Consideration will be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence or strong potential in undergraduate teaching in digital marketing and related areas; experience developing or delivering courses related to digital marketing, emerging marketing technologies, or technology-enabled brand strategy; industry experience or professional certifications relevant to digital and technology-enabled marketing.
