Job description

SINAI Schools is seeking a highly motivated assistant teacher for the 2025-26 school year to work with both General and Judaic Studies faculty at its SINAI at JKHA campus, teaching children ages 6-14 with special needs in a collaborative and supportive setting. Knowledge of Orthodox Judaism a plus.

SINAI at JKHA, for elementary and middle school students in grades one through eight, partners with Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy (JKHA), located in Livingston, NJ. SINAI at JKHA serves students with a range of special needs, and boasts a professional-to-student ratio of 1:1.2.

Responsibilities

1. Assisting general and Judaic studies teacher in the classroom for students with special needs
2. Providing academic support and guidance to students as needed
