Bright Horizons, a leading early education provider, is seeking an Assistant Teacher to join our family-centered centers in Maryland. You will support classroom routines, engage children in hands-on activities, and communicate milestones with families while pursuing opportunities for CDA or college degree support at no cost.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in child care, daycare or preschool settings preferred.
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines.
• Fulfill mandated reporter requirements and report suspected child abuse or neglect.
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or nearby locations.
