Sauk Prairie Early Learning Center is an exciting new child care center currently under construction in the heart of the Sauk Prairie community, set to open in September 2025. In partnership with the Sauk Prairie School District, Sauk Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce, municipalities, and generous donors, this vision has been able to come to life. Sauk Prairie Early Learning Center is a year-round program providing early care and education to children ages 6 weeks - 5, with an enrollment capacity of 168. Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging early learning environment that effectively supports the diverse needs of children, families, and community. We are committed to delivering high-quality early care and education, creating a foundation for children to build critical skills for school and throughout life.
Position Summary
We are looking for caring, enthusiastic Early Childhood Assistant Teachers to support our classrooms and help create joyful, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. The ideal candidate is a team player seeking a career in early childhood, passionate about working with young children, and committed to fostering growth through play, exploration, and positive relationships. Interviews will begin in June, with a start date in September.

District Description
The district includes Sauk City and Prairie du Sac, two villages known as Sauk Prairie, located along the Wisconsin River. The area features rolling hills, meadows, bluffs, forests, lakes, and streams. It offers small-town, rural living with easy access to Madison (25 miles) and Wisconsin Dells (28 miles). The district serves approximately 2,800 students across six learning communities, including a high school (850 students), middle school (600 students), and four elementary schools (1,350 students).
