The Goddard School of Indianapolis (Southport), IN is seeking a motivated Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in creating engaging programs and maintaining a safe, stimulating classroom. Bring energy, enthusiasm and creativity to our collaborative team that puts children first.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development through active engagement.
• Prepare classroom materials and maintain a safe, clean learning environment.
• Supervise and provide individualized support to children and foster belonging.
• Assist in communicating with families about their child’s progress and daily activities.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and licensing regulations.
• Support daily care routines to promote a nurturing learning environment.
