Teach O Rea Preparatory in Stone Mountain, GA is looking for an Assistant Teacher to join our growing team and make a meaningful impact on young learners in a supportive environment.

As part of our dedicated staff, you will help deliver engaging lessons, supervise activities, maintain a safe classroom, and communicate with families to track progress. Passion for children and teamwork are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; Early Childhood Education coursework preferred.
• Prior experience in classroom, childcare, or educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, nurturing demeanor with a love for working with children.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team; pass background check.
• CPR and First Aid certification a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support the lead teacher with engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and classroom instruction.
• Supervise and assist students during classroom activities, transitions, and outdoor play.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Provide individualized attention and support to students as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student progress.
• Assist with preparing classroom materials, supplies, and educational resources.
• Observe and document student behavior and development for reporting purposes.
