Qualifications

• High school diploma required; ECE degree preferred.
• Empathy and compassion for young children.
• Ability to work productively without supervision.
• Basic understanding of child development.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass state background checks and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher with age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Support development across social, emotional, cognitive, and physical areas.
• Prepare classroom materials and maintain a safe, inviting space.
• Supervise children and provide individualized support.
• Communicate with families about progress and activities.
• Follow health, safety and licensing guidelines.
• Support daily care routines to nurture learning.
