Job summary

Child Development Schools in Edmond is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support the Master Teacher with age-appropriate lessons, hands-on activities, and storytelling. You will help create a warm, safe classroom where curiosity, kindness, and growth are encouraged.

You will interact with children, assist with attendance, and communicate daily with families, while maintaining a clean, organized learning space. Compensation ranges from $11.00 to $14.00 per hour for full-time roles with benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young learners in a classroom setting.
• Ability to follow directions and collaborate with a mentor teacher.
• Excellent communication with families.

Responsibilities

• Support the Master Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom.
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, outdoor time.
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher.
• Build relationships with families through daily communication.
• Assist with attendance and daily reports.
