Job summary

Busy Bees in North Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Lead Teacher to partner with families and caregivers to provide a home away from home for children from 6 weeks to 12 years, following NAC guidelines and AZ Early Learning Standards.

You will develop developmentally appropriate curricula, curate engaging activities, maintain a safe, clean environment, and communicate effectively with parents to support each child’s growth. This is a full-time on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Able to work during regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years of age.
• Creating developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAC standards & AZ Early Learning Standards.
