Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking energetic Assistant Teachers to join our daycare teams in Avon, Indiana. You will help provide daily care, support play-based learning, and help create a safe, nurturing classroom environment.

As you work with children, you will observe and assess development, communicate with families, and complete training on childcare and development topics. This role emphasizes growth, teamwork, and a passion for early childhood education.

Qualifications

• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.
