Job Title: Assistant Teacher
Reports to: Teacher or Principal
Receives Guidance From: Teacher, Principal
Job Purpose: To provide assistance in the instruction of basic skills and to assure each student the opportunity to take advantage of all available resources in the classroom.
Education level: Associates degree or higher from an accredited college. Minimum of 48 hours of college credit from an accredited college or pass a Work Keys test as determined by the Mississippi Department of Education.
