Base pay range

$16.50/hr - $20.50/hr

Our early childhood center is looking for a full-time Infant/Toddler Teacher Assistant. The position hours may vary from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Full-Time employees receive paid holidays, vacations, and additional PTO and sick pay.

The ideal candidates must have experience working with infant to toddler-age children, be comfortable and confident caring for infant to toddler-aged children, have excellent communication skills, and be a nurturing and patient caregiver. Teaching Assistants help to create innovative lesson plans and enhance the learning environment for our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with children in the classroom and outdoors to promote their learning and development
  • Communicate with parents and keep them informed about their child's development and any changes to the regular day-to-day schedule
  • Collaborate with teachers to monitor the development of each child
  • Understand the teacher's routine when it comes to delivering a lesson plan and run the class in the event that the teacher is absent
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Nurturing teaching approach
  • High School Diploma/GED required (Associate Degree preferred)
  • Compassionate attitude and strong understanding of child development
  • Experience caring for young children

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $20.50 per hour
