The Gardner School is seeking an Assistant Teacher to join our nurturing preschool program. Ideal candidates will have a loving, patient demeanor and a minimum of one year experience with young children.

Strong communication with parents and staff is essential, along with good organizational skills and basic computer literacy. We are committed to a safe, educational environment and provide growth opportunities within our privately-owned company.

Qualifikationen

• Greet each child by name and acknowledge parents during drop off and pick up times daily.
• Ensure the safety of each child.
• Maintain confidentiality of school directives, curriculum and software.
• Read, understand and implement all policies and procedures of The Gardner School and all State Licensing Agencies.
• Maintain professional and positive relationships with the parents and coworkers.
• Advise the Director or Assistant Director of any supplies needed for the upcoming months.
• Follow the standards set forth for the conduct and responsibilities of all staff members who come in contact with children.

Assistant Teacher Desired Skills and Experience

• One year professional experience
• Must love working with children and have a loving and nurturing personality.
• Excellent communication skills, including personal face-to-face communications with parents, staff, and children.
• Strong organizational skills.

Assistant Teacher Minimum Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education or related degree preferred.
• Intermediate PC skills
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
