Responsibilities
  • Participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating classroom programs.
  • Create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
  • Engage families in meaningful ways and maintain open communication.
  • Maintain accurate records respecting confidentiality.
  • Assist in report completion and classroom responsibilities.
  • Support professional development and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a current CDA or equivalent, one year of experience with children birth-5, effective communication skills, and physical ability to perform job duties.

Preferred qualifications include experience with diverse populations and bilingual abilities.

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting children up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and moving quickly when needed.

Credentials and Training

Background checks, health exams, vaccinations, and on-the-job training in child abuse, first aid, CPR, and other areas are required.
