Bright Horizons is hiring Assistant Teachers across Connecticut, with opportunities at multiple CT locations. The hourly pay ranges from $17.45 to $21.70, and select locations offer a $1,000 hiring incentive.

You’ll work in person in Bright Horizons’ early education centers, supporting children with developmentally appropriate activities and maintaining a safe environment. Qualifications include being 18+, HS diploma or GED, and background checks; 1 year of child care experience is preferred,

Competenze

• 18+ years old with a HS diploma or GED.
• 1 year of child care experience preferred.
• CDA/Associate/Bachelor in early education preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Fulfill mandated reporter requirements as defined by the appropriate State agency, including reporting any suspected cases of child abuse or neglect to the agency and informing the director.
