SEARCHING FOR AN ASSISTANT TEACHER/FLOATER FROM 11AM TO 3PM!
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher/Floater to join our team. The ideal candidate will support Lead Teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for our students. This role is perfect for someone passionate about early childhood education and eager to positively impact young lives. Responsibilities include assisting in classrooms during lunch and nap times, supporting teachers during breaks, and helping maintain a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist lead teachers with classroom activities, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
  • Supervise and engage with children during structured and free-play activities.
  • Support children’s needs, including snacks, bathroom assistance, and routines.
  • Float between classrooms to provide coverage as needed.
  • Support teachers during lunch and nap times.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, children, and parents professionally.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
  • Maintain constant supervision of children.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children (preferred but not required).
  • Enthusiastic, dependable, and flexible attitude.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • No nights, weekends, or holidays
Work Location: In person
Expected hours: 20 per week
