Job summary

KIDS ACADEMY Childcare & Preschool in Worthington, OH seeks an experienced Assistant Teacher/Float to select age-appropriate programs, support staff, and manage scheduling and supplies. You will help implement strategies to grow outreach and ensure high-quality care.

You will adhere to licensing rules, develop lesson plans, interact with children for learning, and communicate with parents. A commitment to continuing education is valued and necessary for growth within the program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• At least 1 year experience working in a licensed childcare facility
• Coursework or a degree in early childhood education or child development or a CDA
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding child care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of caring and nurturing children in a licensed educational environment

Responsibilities

• Adhere to ODJFS Child Care licensing rules
• Develop lesson plans
• Interact with children to support effective learning and socialization
• Consistent Communication with parents
• Participation in staff and training meetings
