Job summary

La Petite Academy in Kenosha, WI is hiring Assistant Teachers to care for children and collaborate with families. You’ll follow licensing guidelines and maintain a fun, organized classroom while developing observation and planning skills.

We offer training on childcare topics, plus opportunities for tuition reimbursement and credential assistance, with a Master Teacher Program to support your growth.

Qualifications

• Love to help! Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child. Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Love to engage! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Love to learn! Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.
• We want energetic, dependable individuals, with a passion for working with children, who have: The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for daily care of every child following licensing guidelines and standards.
• Engage with children and families, observing and communicating effectively.
• Participate in training and development opportunities provided by the center.
