Job summary

Bright Horizons in Raleigh, NC, is seeking an Assistant Teacher to join our team and support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This full-time position offers standard M-F hours (8:30 AM–5:30 PM) and opportunities to pursue further education at no cost through our CDA & Degree programs.

You will assist with hands-on activities, maintain open communication with families, and help create a safe, engaging classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Must pass required state and company background checks
• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required
• 1 year of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool is preferred
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center

Education
