ECOLE 360 Child Development Center in Arlington Heights, IL is hiring a Lead Teacher for a full-time, on-site position. You will support the lead teacher by engaging with children to foster learning, social skills, and self-esteem, and will collaborate with parents and staff to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.

The ideal candidate is 18+ with a High School Diploma and a genuine love for children. The role includes opportunities for professional development and a stable schedule.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma.
• Innate love for children.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in meeting individual needs of children by interacting with them to support play, exploration, and learning.
• Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.
• Work with the lead teacher to design an appropriate room arrangement that supports the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom.
• Create a positive learning environment in their classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning.
• Present expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level.
• Assist the lead teacher in implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.
• Build teamwork.
• Commit to continuing education.
