Head Start Assistant Teacher

Crossroads Youth & Family Services, Inc. is seeking a Head Start Assistant Teacher for its Bethel location in Pottawatomie County. Education, Experience, License, and Knowledge

Education/Experience:

• Minimum one (1) year of full-time early childhood experience in a licensed program, plus one (1) year of college credits with six (6) semester hours in early child development or related courses; or
• Current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential

License:

• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable liability insurance

Knowledge:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards
• Computer literacy and ability to operate office equipment
• Mathematical skills for calculations
