Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring in Michigan (Westland) for a classroom position. You will implement the curriculum, create a safe and nurturing environment, and partner with families to provide the best care and education for children.

This role requires outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and meeting state qualifications. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain them is required; must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

  • Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi‑task and handle multiple situations effectively.
  • Meet state‑specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain them.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain them.
  • Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
  • Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.
