Job summary

Primrose School of Naperville Crossings is looking for a Part Time Assistant Teacher to join the team in the afternoons, helping with lesson plans and activities for young children.

The role runs Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with additional hours available if desired. You will support routines, supervise play, and communicate progress to parents in a nurturing setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with young children preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass background check and obtain necessary certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities.
• Supervise and engage with children during playtime and outdoor activities.
• Support children with daily routines, including mealtimes, diapering and nap time.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and provide updates on children's progress.

About the Role

The hours for this position
