Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. is seeking an Abbott Teacher's Assistant to ensure age-appropriate activities for children. The role requires collaborative teamwork with teachers and families to maintain an engaging classroom environment.
The ideal candidate will have a state-awarded Paraprofessional Certificate or an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, along with First Aid and CPR certification. Experience working with preschool children preferred. This is a great opportunity for passionate individuals dedicated to supporting children's learning.
Under the administrative direction of the Education & Early Childhood Services Manager and the Classroom Teacher and directly supervised by the ECE Coordinator/Site Supervisor the Abbott Teacher's Assistant/Floater ensures age and developmentally appropriate activities for all children.
08:30AM - 03:30PM; Up to (2) 8:00AM arrivals per month for staff meetings and/or trainings and/or up to (2) 4:00PM departures per month for staff meetings and/or trainings.
$21.51 per hour
Temporary Hires are eligible for Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance effective the first of the month after hire date.
Educational Requirements: A state‑awarded certificate (i.e. Paraprofessional Certificate), or an associate's degree (60 college credits) – Early Childhood Education preferred.
First Aid and CPR Certification required.
Experience Requirements: Experience teaching pre‑school children, preferably in Head Start/Early Head Start classrooms; minimum of three years' experience working with preschool aged children and families.
