Job summary

Clever Bee Academy is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support daily classroom activities and create a safe, nurturing environment for children. You’ll collaborate with the Lead Teacher to implement developmentally appropriate activities and maintain organized, clean spaces.

This is a great entry- to mid-level opportunity in early childhood education. You’ll supervise routines, communicate with families, and contribute to a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 6 months of experience working in a licensed childcare center or comparable setting
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available for this position
• Some college-level coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred)
• Ohio Career Pathways Level II or CDA certification upon hire (CDA sponsorship available)

About the Role

Clever Bee Academy is seeking a caring, dependable Assistant Teacher to support classroom learning and help create a safe, nurturing environment for children. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Lead Teacher to support daily activities, classroom organization, and positive relationships with families. Pay & Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay: $15.00–$16.50 per hour (based on experience and credentials)

Sign-on Bonus will be awarded as follows:

• After 30 days of employment: $500
• After 60 days of employment: Additional $250
