Job summary

Learning Care Group in Fairport, NY is seeking passionate Assistant Teachers to support children in a caring, structured classroom. You’ll help implement developmentally appropriate activities and maintain a safe, engaging space for kids.

As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll learn through ongoing training, engage families with clear updates, and contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace that values growth and recognition.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing and accreditation requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors with children.
• Willingness to complete childcare training and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for children in a nurturing environment.
• Observe and assess child needs and activities.
• Communicate regularly with families and document progress.

Assistant Teachers:

• Love to help! Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.Maintain a fun,interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Love to engage! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Love to learn! Complete extensive training onchildcare, preschooland childdevelopment topics.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay $18.13-$18.83 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
• Limited medical offered for part-time workers.
• Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification available to all employees
• Monday-Friday work week
