Job summary

New Horizon Academy Iowa, Inc in Urbandale, IA is seeking Assistant Teachers to join our team. The hourly wage range is $14.40-$15.75 DOE and you must be available to work any shift between 6:30am and 6:00pm.

As an educator, you will delight in our classrooms, receive support from a knowledgeable team, and help shape the leaders of tomorrow. Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required; applicants must meet state qualifications and background checks.

Qualifications

• All applicants must be able to work a flexible, full-time schedule, Monday-Friday.
• Have a positive work ethic and a team-centered attitude.
• Be willing to learn and grow as an educator.
• Enjoy working with children.
• Previous childcare experience preferred, but not required.
• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
• Has previous experience in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Must meet state department guidelines for position qualifications.
• Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
• Can provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
