Job summary

Primrose School of Randolph seeks enthusiastic assistant teachers who want to make a difference and put their talents to use. Great colleagues, a happy work environment and limitless hugs.

Responsibilities include supporting lead teachers, engaging children in learning activities, and maintaining a safe, organized classroom from 7am to 6pm, Monday through Friday. Previous teaching or assistant teaching experience is preferred, and a background check is required.

Qualifications

• Must work from 7am to 6pm, Mon-Fri.
• Previous experience teaching or assistant teaching with a public or private school system, licensed child care center or church nursery is strongly preferred.
• Ability to relate positively with young children.
• Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children.
• Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency and pass a background check.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
